Halal Hardcore

HALAL HARDCORE is a guitar-synthesizer duo formed by Maximilian Facchin (guitar) and Tobias Klingler (monosynth, drum machine, vocals). Founded in Vienna in spring 2022, their music combines the coldness and precision of sequenced synthesizer riffs with the immediacy of a looped electric guitar. Life-affirming lyrics lead through the beat-heavy, spherically noisy compositions.Their first EP “Jetstreams EP” was released on tape in February 2024. The album “Keta Wave” was released on vinyl in September 2024, two songs from the record were released as music videos. The album’s record production was supported by austro mechana and the state of Vorarlberg. In April 2025 they released their new record “American Staffordshire EP” on vinyl with four accompanying music videos by four different directors. In the fall of 2025, they toured Taiwan with five concerts, supported by the Austrian Office Taipei. HALAL HARDCORE sees itself as a live band: all guitar loops and synth sequences are recorded live. The band plays without a backing track, so there is room for spontaneity and variation in each of their sets. HALAL HARDCORE unleash a fusion of guitars and synthesizers on stage that take you deep into the hypnotic world of the Keta Wave. Every performance is a spontaneous sound journey, where nothing is predetermined and everything seems possible. Keta Wave is a genre that brings a contemporary twist to Dark Wave. HALAL HARDCORE’s music is crafted as a fully immersive experience. At their live shows they skip spoken announcements and video projections – their aim is for the audience to be drawn entirely into the sound.

Alto Lago

ALTO LAGO are two musicians, invoking avantgarde metal, creating an extravagant mix of music, mysticism and philosophy. Art, Soil, Sun. Founded in 2013 by Raphael Schütze (Tav / Lighthouse / Ex-Abandoned Dreams) and Ex-Helfahrt Singer Max Marquardt. The band´s artwork and visual concept has been originated by the famous artist Alexander Trinkl from Irrwisch-Design (Hexvessel, Fäulnis a.o.) In August 2014 the duo released their debut EP „A Cosmic Forge“. In April 2015, their former drummer Mike Biller was replaced by Michael Mauder of the Doom Post Rockers Abandoned Dreams. After high-flying shows throughout whole Germany with bands like Fäulnis, Blackshore, Kvltist, Ha- rakiri for the Sky, Agrypnie, former drummer Michael Mauder was fired. The band was set to a halt until December 2018. In January 2019 Dimo Dimov (Svarrogh, Allerseelen) took over the drums for several gigs. In 2021 the band released their EP „Of Men and Pyres“. Four years later, in fall 2025, Alto Lago released their full album „All is one“.
